Artist’s Statement

My work explores themes of memory, light, and the layers that form the whole of a person. My most recent work is both a personal attempt to remember my past and a broader abstraction of memory as a collection of images that both fade and interfere. Through my study of light, depth, and interaction, I hope to capture the transience of life and the things that make us human.
